Message from Chief Paul King

Thank your for your interest in the Pawtucket Police Department. The Pawtucket Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency comprised of 153 sworn members and more than 50 civilian employees.  We are the 3rd largest municipal police department in the state, behind Providence and Warwick.

The department is organized into three divisions comprised of the patrol division, the criminal investigative division and the administrative division.  There are many different positions within these divisions that offer a wide array of opportunity for career development.  Good luck in your pursuit of a career in law enforcement and I look forward to meeting you during our hiring process.
