Chief King has been a member of the Pawtucket police department since March 12, 1982. He has served in patrol, investigative and administrative capacities during that time.
He supervised many vice operations for the department as the head of the departments Special Squad. He also served as the Major in charge of the Administration Division, where he oversaw budgetary matters, as well as physical plant and fleet operations. Chief King was promoted to the rank of Chief in November, 2010.
Chief King holds a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Bryant College and a Master of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College.
Major Moreau has been a member of the Pawtucket police department since June 29, 1985. Major Moreau has served in the Patrol Division, Detective Division, & as the Officer in Charge of Planning & Training Division for the police department. He has served as an adjunct instructor for the R.I. Municipal Police Academy and was recognized as the Trainer of the Year in 2004 by the R.I. Law Enforcement Trainers Association (RILETA). He has been instrumental in development of the department policy.
Major Moreau holds an Associates degree from Los Angeles Community College, as well as Bachelor's and Masters degree from Roger Williams University in Justice System Management. He is currently in charge of the Patrol Division, which includes the Community Policing Unit and Special Response Team (SRT).
Major Catarina has been a member of the Pawtucket police department since May 5, 1989. Major Catarina has extensive experience in both patrol and investigative operations. He worked in the department's Special Squad as well as the Internal Affairs Division.
Major Catarina holds a Bachelor's Degree from Roger Williams in Criminal Justice. He is currently in charge of the Administration Services Division and Planning & Training Division.
